Information Design

Below are examples of my skills in Information Design. I show print as well as web design elements.

Magazine Article Layout

I wrote a profile on Colette Shelton Pawol for the Women's Archive Project in a previous class. This is a sample of my writing, but it also represents my design skills in laying out the article within a magazine page format. I used InDesign CS6 to create this.

Magazine Cover

I designed a magazine cover for my Producing Digital Publications class. I created everything from the logo to the content to the layout. I used InDesign 6 to create this cover and PhotoShop CS6 to create the graphics and logo.

English Graduate Handbook

A partner and I designed the UNO English Graduate Handbook after interviewing various faculty members and getting a clear idea of our audience and situation. Once designed, we presented the handbook to the English Graduate faculty and staff through a formal presentation of our design philosophy. We used InDesign CS4 and PhotoShop CS4 to complete the project.

Website

I designed a website to correspond with a fictitous journal for my Producing Digital Publications class. I used DreamWeaver CS6 to design this website from scratch. This is a screen shot from that website, which is not currently published or live on the web.
